Procedures and services
OBJECTIVE
Process and obtain permits from the SCT and the Secretary of the Navy (SEMAR) for the construction of 3 breakwaters and to fill the beach with sand from the sea bank.
STRATEGY
Carry out field work to obtain bathymetry of the marine bank and of the navigation route to the Grand Velas Riviera Maya development, measure the strata of the sandbank to estimate the volume, obtain samples of sand and its granulometry, generate the required plans of the bank of sand, of the breakwaters and of the area to be filled in on the beach.
WORK TOOLS
Single beam echo sounder, transducer, high precision GPS, SCUBA diving equipment and pneumatic probe.
RESULTS
All requirements were met and permits were obtained from the SCT and the Secretary of the Navy to carry out the work described.
